This is a hydrosol blend we created just for Bare Botanicals from locally harvested plants off our land and neighborhood here in Dartmouth, and then distilled in our copper still.
This herbal blend is used to balance skin conditions and emotions along with a multitude of skin benefits including soothing, hydrating, and nourishing. It aides in both protecting from and repairing sun damage, along with calming acne, eczema, psoriasis and any itchy irritated skin.
This Hydrosol is full of garden loving Sage, which supports our own antioxidant and enzymatic activity and Roses for hydration, barrier repair, antioxidant activity, as well as plumping and firming the skin!

INGREDIENTS: Sage, Rose, Honeysuckle, Melissa, Plantain, Yarrow, Red Clover, and Water
ORIGIN: distilled at Robertson Farm, most wildcrafted in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia
RITUAL: Lightly shake and then mist your face generously before applying face oil or balm.
Sage – cultivated in Dartmouth and artisan-distilled, Sage stimulates cell renewal and is an antioxidant activity booster. It supports our own enzymatic activity and gently stimulates circulation to promote healing.
Honeysuckle – This delicate scent adds a subtle sweetness. These hand-harvested flowers strengthen the skin barrier while simultaneously soothing redness and irritation.
Rose – Rose hydrosol has hydrating and barrier strengthening properties. Roses are gentle and soothing to the skin, and are deeply hydrating and supportive to connective tissue. Roses reduce the appearance of fine lines and are potent free radical scavengers.
Lemon Balm – This nutrient-rich green leaf, also known as Melissa, is high in delicate antioxidants that work swiftly to reduce free radical damage. It is specific to mending and soothing inflamed and problematic skin, and it also has a lymph and immune system affinity that has a regulatory effect.
Yarrow – The precious white Yarrow flower is know for its ability to heal, soothe and regenerates.
What is a Hydrosol? (From Racheal!)
Hydrosols are plant spirit essences which capture the soul and energy of the plant. Our hydrosols are created by steam distillation, using a copper almebic still. They are created for the sole purpose of hydrosol, therefore all the essential oils from the plant are entwined in the water too. These are special to us as they are created right here in Nova Scotia. True farm to face skincare!
